Weatherby Healthcare Completes Broad Red Ribbon Service Training

Healthcare staffing company delivers its mission to parent company employees

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (Sept. 26, 2011) – Weatherby Healthcare recently completed a broad Red Ribbon Service training throughout its parent company’s office, CHG Healthcare Services. It believes that superior customer service not only applies to Weatherby’s Consultants, but to every employee in the company and the employees of CHG.

“The four corner stones of our Red Ribbon Service are: It’s Personal, It’s Performance, It’s Passion and It’s Commitment,” said Robert Jones, Weatherby’s Training Specialist, during the training session at CHG. “People don’t care about how much you know until they know how much you care.” Weatherby’s Red Ribbon Service practices are in alignment with the Putting People First culture at Weatherby and CHG, and is largely responsible for Weatherby’s 38-percent growth rate this year. Currently, Weatherby Healthcare is the fastest growing healthcare staffing company in the nation.

Lynnette Odom, Weatherby’s Director of Training and Employee Engagement, welcomed trainees to the sessions. “Red Ribbon Service is something we speak to at Weatherby every day. It is a part of everything we do….this training is near and dear to our hearts and it’s a privilege to share it with all our business partners at CHG that work so closely with us every day.”

Mr.  Jones emphasized that healthcare staffing is a people business based on building relationships. To illustrate, he engaged trainees in an activity in which teams independently chose to compete with or help each other and visualize the results of working for the benefit of others. “The essence of Red Ribbon Service is helping each other win, not competing against each other,” he said. ”We have internal and external customers and everyone is interdependent on the other to accomplish our goals.”

Values such as candor, integrity, personal accountability, dedication and fun were discussed as critical components of Red Ribbon Service. Mr. Jones and Ms. Odom engaged business partners in the session with YouTube videos, interactive games such as developing a 15-second commercial about Weatherby, and pop hits such as Aretha Franklin’s song “Respect”. Trainees tested their knowledge and gained Red Ribbon Service certification at the conclusion of the session.

“What one thing will you do today to make a difference?” Mr. Jones asked the participants, suggesting they write it down. “Great service is something that comes from the heart.”
